The statute of limitations appears reductive of relevance. "Post praescriptionem", only the "titulus adquirendi" survives. The value of the source is reduced. Before prescription, the source was valid as a title of liability (personal, 1218; and patrimonial, 2740); after, the source is only valid as a title of acquisition. We could conclude that prescription is an affair of the statute of liability.[Abstract appeared in the Journal]
