This essay explores the innovative concept of "circular health", examining how it enhances the promotion of workplace health and safety from a gender-sensitive perspective. Central to this discussion is the increasing relevance of the permeability between organizational structures and the external environment. The necessity for integrated prevention, a notion propelled by emergency COVID-19 legislation and reinforced by the recent constitutional reform of Articles 9 and 41, is rooted in the principles of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008. Key elements include a participatory risk assessment process, rigorous health surveillance, and the strengthened roles of competent physicians and workers' safety representatives. Additionally, the essay highlights the strategic implementation of organizational and management systems, underscoring their growing importance in fostering a holistic approach to workplace safety and health.[Abstract appeared in the Journal]
